Elevate game day snacking or busy weeknight dinners with delicious air fryer buffalo chicken taquitos! Bursting with spicy flavor and wrapped in a crispy shell, these taquitos are a guaranteed hit for just about any occasion.

The combination of tender shredded chicken, creamy cream cheese, tangy sour cream, spicy buffalo sauce, and a hint of garlic powder delivers big on flavor. Just mix it all up, roll into warm corn tortillas, and air fry to perfection!

And the best part? These taquitos are super easy to make! So if you have some rotisserie or leftover chicken sitting in your fridge, I highly recommend giving this dish a try. It’ll be an instant favorite!

STEP ONE: Combine the cream cheese, Buffalo sauce, sour cream, garlic powder, and salt and pepper in a mixing bowl. Mix until smooth.

STEP TWO: Add the chicken and fold until the chicken is well coated.

STEP THREE: Preheat the air fryer to 400 degrees F.

STEP FOUR: Wrap the tortillas in a damp paper towel and microwave for 30-60 seconds, until warm and pliable.

STEP FIVE: Working one at a time, lay a warm tortilla out on a clean work surface. Sprinkle 2-3 tablespoons shredded cheese down the middle, followed by a thin line (about 3 tablespoons) of the chicken mixture. Carefully roll the tortilla up tightly, securing with a toothpick if needed.

STEP SIX: Repeat until you’ve formed 10 taquitos.

STEP SEVEN: Place the taquitos, seam side down, in an even layer in the air fryer basket. Spray lightly with olive oil spray.

STEP EIGHT: Air fry for 5 minutes, then carefully flip each taquito and continue to air fry for 3-5 minutes until the taquitos are crispy to your liking.

STEP NINE: Serve hot with ranch, blue cheese dressing, or extra Buffalo sauce.

Because this recipe uses leftover chicken, the taquitos don’t need to cook for very long. The goal is for the air fryer to crisp up the tortilla while heating the taquitos all the way through. No one wants cold chicken or cheese in the middle!

I find that 8-10 minutes total, flipping halfway through, is the perfect amount of time. The corn tortillas get nice and crunchy and the cheese gets perfectly melty.

The exact time can vary based on your air fryer and your brand of tortilla, so keep an eye on your taquitos during those last few minutes. Once the tortillas are golden and crispy, they’re ready!
